Make sure you get the newest version you can find if you decide to purchase this book. I purchased the 2005 edition and it was riddled with errors.

LOVE this book. It was invaluable as I learned to knit socks. I'd love to try every sock in the book!

Still working up to this - hard to read patterns for me, but I know a lot of knitters swear by this book.
Good book of socks to learn how to make socks and change from a basic sock to a decorated or fancy sock.
