I've struggled with the Blue Bloods series from start to finish. Admittedly I've really enjoyed the story, you would have to to keep reading all the books, but it just got me so confused!! It's almost as if the author didn't really know where the series was going and the fundamentals behind the story hadn't been thought out! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. The best book in the series so far, i loved this one! I actually found i couldn't stop reading. Everything seeming to happen and it was interesting from start to finish.
At first i was surprised to see that a year had passed between the last book and this one, but in the end i understood the need for it. Many of the characters changed so much in that time and it wouldn't have made sense for their change otherwise.
This book gives you a MASSIVE insight into Mimi. I've never liked her before, and The best book in the series so far, i loved this one! I actually found i couldn't stop reading. Everything seeming to happen and it was interesting from start to finish.

This book gives you a MASSIVE insight into Mimi. I've never liked her before, and while i understood the need to have her in the books in a kind of villan role, i never cared much about what happened to her. I've always seen her as nasty, manipulative, shallow and i've always thought she was a horrible person. However, it seems in the year we missed she grew quite a bit. Her attitude toward her Venator mission and those children in Rio really was unlike the Mimi we've all come to know. And her and Kingsly....wow! Just wow! She's always been so driven to destroy Schyler and get Jack, it was refreshing to actually see her feel for another and to care about more than herself. I was cheering for her to pick Kingsly, although i understood her need to uphold her duty.
But when she realised Jack would never feel about her the way she wanted him to, and that she did love Kingsly and wanted to be with him, only to lose him....my heart absolutly shattered along with her's. I never could have imagined that i could be so sad for her, this girl who has been nothing but (excuse my language lol) a b**** the entire series so far.
I'm estatic that Jack and Schyler are going to go against the bond and risk everything to give it a shot, but now i'm also hoping that Mimi finds hapiness too. Maybe, just maybe there's a way to save Kingsly. (hey, a girl can hope, right?)
Anyway, on to other things. Bliss made the honrable decision and managed to save herself, although now she's human.
I'm looking forward to the spin off series featuring Bliss and her search for the werewolves. She was one of my fave characters from the beginning and i can't wait to read those books.

Ok I think this is my favorite book so far in the series.

There was suspense and enough to keep me wanting more.

Poor Bliss, there was a time that I really felt bad for her.

Mimi I was mad at her because she was so jugemental about her brother but she goes and does the same thing.

And Sckyler I can't wait to see what happens next.

I really enjoyed this easy read.

I was not into this series... for some reason I couldn't understand Schuyler's draw to Jack. I mean ok he is hot and he eventually picked her over Mimi but I just couldn't feel their passion for one another. Plus I really don't like how she just up and left Oliver. ...more
