Its old school romance.. pages and pages of blah until you almost give up reading...unless! like me you know that the author will make it worth your while by penning few lines so poignant and sweet that, that is what finally stays in your memory..I happily forget all the boring parts and gaze into space sighing over all the sweet things that Cole did to win Alaina's love. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh!

A truly epic story along the vein of Gone With the Wind. Alaina and Cole are a much more likeable pair than Scarlett and Rhett, however. I was frustrated, though, with how long it took the couple to resolve their differences. But they eventually did, of course, and the story has its obligatory HEA. Another great KEW read.
