A delightful story. Not my favorite Julie Garwood, but good, nevertheless. This story is really just about two people getting used to each other. Elizabeth has lost all her family in a massacre at her castle due to the actions of a power-hungry uncle. Only she and her brother escaped. The Baron over that region arrived and married her to set things right. He somehow felt responsible for not protecting them.
