I want to scream to the top of my lungs and say that: THIS BOOK IS BEYOND AWESOME!!!!! Okay so maybe not that much excitement is needed, but boy this book deserves a review I probably won't be able to give. There are plenty of good reviews of this book already, but I can't resist the urge to put my own two cents in too.
You can already get the premise of the story from the other reviews so I won't bother with that. Can I just say that the author did an exquisite job of finding the right voice f ...more

Along with fellow representative Peeta, she must travel to the capital city, ready to be placed into the most extreme survival game ever played...all for the live entertainment of the public.

After putting off reading this book for so long I finally gave in. I have the Catching Fire and to read that I have to go thru with this first. The thing is post-apocalyptic / dystopian is not really my thing, but when I started reading, I was hooked. It has a very catchy and interesting twist. Sad that Katniss' world was divided into 13 Districts that has a specific livelihood. So you can imagine that some of them is scarce on food. District 12 -Kat's being the poorest, since their industry is
