It moved me. I was crying the whole time. At first I thought it's a cliche love story. But there's actually more to it than that. The father-children dilemma made the story more real, more heartwarming, and at the same time tragic. Will is a guy to look out for. He reminds me of Noah (The Notebook). I can also relate to Ronnie with her angst and grudge with her dad. Because I do have some of my own with my dad. But her dad's way better. WARNINGS: This book will make you cry like a baby and think about your own family relationships.

This was a good book. It's a touching story about finding love and the ability to forgive. All of the characters were fully developed, except for maybe two, but they didn't really matter. I liked how as each chapter changed, the point of view changed to another character. I have been listening to this one on audio for the last couple of weeks on the ride to and from work. It was very easy to follow and I have to say I really enjoyed the story.

I had watched the movie before listening to the book and it stayed pretty closely to the storyline. Ronnie and Will were great characters and it reminded me of what it was like being in love for the first time!

if i ever had a favourite book..this one tops it.
i can actually say that this is the best book i've ever read because while reading it i've laughed cried(actual tears)i was both happy and sad..and the story was perfect.
and i can't belive i've never read this book before..nicholas sparks did a wounderful job writing this book
