Book five of "Legacy of the Force" starts off slowly with a seemingly unconnected series of stories / events: Boba Fett's terminal illness, Ben Skywalker's role in the assassination of a political figure, Mara Jade Skywalker's hunt for the dark lady, Lumiya, and, of course, Jacen Solo's ascent to Sith Lord. Eventually most of the plotlines connect, and at the culminating point of the novel, Mara, Ben, Lumiya and Jacen arrive at the same place at the same time to a disastrous and terminal end. I

Okay for 80% of the book then it gets really good at the end.
Very interesting story. Very sad for Luke and Ben. I didn't read the short story that was included.
