I love Star Wars but didn't really care for this book a lot. I don't like how the authors have developed the Old Republic era of the Star Wars universe. These books are meant to take place 2000-3000 years before the movies but the setting seems almost the same. Coruscant is still the capital of the galaxy which is a republic. You still have an empire led by the Sith. You still have a Jedi Order that supports/defends the republic. It doesn't seem like technology and the cultures had changed in 20

I enjoyed this.
I found it a bit hard to get into at first - the beginning is a bit boring and nothing noteworthy. I don't even really remember what happened. It picks up though after all the characters join together. I liked how the characters developed and the plot twists that I didn't see coming.
It kept me hooked and interested, and has given me some good background into the Old Republic. ...more
