I read half of this a long time ago, and it was awful. Never finished it, so I need to go back and try to get through it. *le sigh*
I have been reading the Star Wars books in order (starting with Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter) for the last three years, and this has been one of the worst. None of the characters act like they should (Luke has a short fuse for heaven's sake), the story lacks detail and richness, and Waru is an omnipotent being who can't get it together enough to get his Jabba-like butt off his own platform. I am glad I am finished with this story, so I can promptly forget it.
