Was going to rate this a 4, but I loved the ebb and flow of the book’s handling of such gratuitous violence that it warrants a 4.5.
Finished this with so much hope that it could’ve gotten fleshed out more.
It felt really dark, encapsulating and inviting.
But at the same time, there was more tell than show, and unlike the first, this could’ve used a striking balance in-between.
Enjoyable for all it is? Absolutely.

so good I wanna cry.
Great second installment of the Darth Bane trilogy cant wait to read the last one in the trilogy Dynasty of Evil definetly deserves the 5 stars
