This is a very nice conclusion to a great trilogy. This book is an adaptation of the movie and does this extraordinarily well. Even if you've seen the movie, this book is well worth reading.

I want to rate this higher, I really do. It's freakin' STAR WARS.
As a book, however...this is better than Empire but worse than A New Hope. It does sort of include an explanation as to Lando's suddenly becoming a General, but not much more happens than what you see.
The most important thing, however, is that you can tell that they have no idea what kind of universe is being created. This book is from 1983. That means another 8 years before Heir to the ...more
