This book reads as though Mr. Glut was asked to attend the premier, and then told to write the book.
'A New Hope' had a few interesting things happen in the book that differed from the movie.
This did not.
In the movie, the story shifts back and forth from Luke to Han and Leia because passage of time is meaningless in a movie.
But... a book doesn't need to bother. So why does he go back and forth in the book when clearly the Millenium Falcon has to make it to Bespin well before Luke's training has ...more

Starting with the ice world of Hoth to Dagobah to Cloud City on Bespin, the journey of learning starts for Luke Skywalker. The book contains so much detail and description you miss in the movie. A must have for any Star Wars fan!
