What Members Thought

The book is quite a bit like the movie, except that Han shoots first. Also, it takes a hundred and twenty pages to get to the Death Star, followed by 50 to leave and 20 to destroy it. That last is impressive, the space battle is rather well detailed in a book that has so many holes. Honestly, it is easy to gloss over the plot holes when watching the movie, but here it becomes much more evident. Time seems to pass unevenly throughout the story and there are more than a few questions left over.

Always for me to return in my favorite saga. Ending it again made me feel like if I had watched the movie, as it is written scene by scene, almost exactly as it is at the screen. Thus reading it feels more like reading a screen; it's not a good book, it's just a good story. I wish there was more in the book, like you usually have in books compared to the movie version! But I know it can't work that way in this case.
