I wanted to rate this four stars, but considering how much I raked this novel due to how great this was, a five, the perfect rate, would obviously suffice.
Vector Prime is one of those Star Wars novels that you'd never expect to be vital to the preceding development of the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion steps. It's way too long. So much of this is unnecessary and some of the most important emotional character moments are nearly lost to clumsy battle descriptions and children's philosophical struggles.
