I wanted to rate this four stars, but considering how much I raked this novel due to how great this was, a five, the perfect rate, would obviously suffice.

Vector Prime is one of those Star Wars novels that you'd never expect to be vital to the preceding development of the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion steps. AMAZING BOOK!

This book is the first in a 19 book series that takes place 21 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, the story deals with a new intergalactic threat called the Yuuzhan Vong. A religious warlike species from another galaxy that rely on bio-technology and living weapons and ships. They plan to attack and takeover the galaxy and they hate everything technological.
