I would give it 3.5 out of 5 if i had the chance. I felt the first 2/3's of the book were very good and maybe it was the death of my hero, or whatever else but i just didnt enjoy the second book as much. It is worth a read and i will be checking out more in this series. ...more

There is something about Star Wars books that I just love. I enjoyed this book starting off the series New Jedi Order. The beginning of one era and the end of another.
My only minor criticism would be that I had to work hard to visualise the space fights....

A great novel, but it was very disturbing in some parts. A good opening for a great series.
