A novel that takes place during the Clone Wars. This one follows a squad of clone troopers as they land on a planet where a nanovirus is being developed that only affects clones. On this planet, they meet up with a padawan who has just lost her master and together they attempt the mission.
This is a very good book as it delves into the minds of clones as they wage a war for which they were developed for. I enjoyed this insight as it shows even though they are warriors bred for war, they are not m ...more

This book was interesting, for a few reasons.
One, it is from the point of view of the clones. What they think about who they are (no existential crises for them), how they react to the world, and how they feel about their situation. It was interesting reading about how the clones thought of themselves, whether they were sentient or not, and how they dealt with their training meeting the real world.
The other interesting aspect was how the Jedi reacted to the clones. Are they canon fodder? Are the ...more

This was an interesting book and good from a purely military aspect. However, I didn't feel myself making a great connection to it. I was easily distracted away from it to other books during the early chapters of the book and essentially had to force myself to finish this first before reading something else rather than jumping back and forth.
