I can see why people screamed for more Lothaire when they were done with the story. I would have rather read his story than Chase's.
You know how I always say I like the boys to be bad in my books? Well, I do! I loved Slain because he was just bad, bad, bad. But Declan? He was just evil. I didn't like that. He hurt the good beings and the bad beings. He tortured them. Sorry, but I do not feel sorry for you! You missed out on my sympathy after the first torture. Never mind that you'd been torturi ...more

WOW!!! This book waa such an emotional rollercoaster of a ride. I just didn't believe that there was any way for KC to redeem Declan. Boy did she ever...I was cheering him and Regin on. What a sigh worthy ending. Now I can't wait for Lothair's book...what is that cagey vampire up to? Enquiring minds are dying to know.

Couldn't wait for Regins' story so skipped Malkoms and Carrow's tale straight to this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. We usually get the Valkyrie's leading their H's a merry dance and that can get old. In this the super cruel H, was just yummy and his resistance was totally absorbing. Why is it that when the h's resist again and again it can get annoying and boring and yet when the H does something similar it's intriguing. I didn't feel at a loss for not having read the previous book so I'm thin

I'm loving the way Kresley Cole keeps reinventing this series, while keeping the overlapping storylines straight. Dreams of a Dark Warrior was darker than some of the other books in the series, and the hero was definitely not appealing for most of the book - and yet, of course, it works.
Given the rest of the world was reading Lothaire while I was reading this one, I really enjoyed learning more about his character, and I must say, I find him strangely appealing. This one made me really excited t ...more

It's a pretty good book. Although the storyline was very interesting, I thought the book was lacking in some areas. For example, I wasn't fully convinced by the fact that Declan is no longer Aidan but that Aidan is only a part of his memory. Declan still feels like Aidan to me. I also thought that the chemistry between Declan and Regin was too slowly developing until the end of the book neared.
