Two scarred people find love and healing together. Short but perfect straight-forward romance. I get the feeling that Pamela Clare puts as much effort in her search for gritty realism into these little novellas as she does her full length novels because it shows. Love her books.
Oh and I Loved the I-Team Beer run story at the end! 4.5 from me!
for the record- the point off is only because I WANTED A FULL LENGTH! ::pout:: But- I'll take what I get and like it! ;) ...more

I really enjoyed getting to see Meghan get her happily ever after! We got to know her a bit during Unlawful Contact...it was nice to see her in a better place, though she is still struggling. Nate is a pretty amazing addition to this group of hotties! He is a gentleman through and through...I really loved how well these two connected. I wish this book longer, but all in all a great addition to this series!

Great story about a featured character from Unlawful Contact, the third book in the I-Team series.
Megan and Nate are a fantastic couple. Neither one thinking they would ever have a romantic relationship after their individual tragedies. Their attraction, even with how quickly it progresses, is very believable and poignant. I was with them every step of the way.

This is really two stories, both pretty short, but both completely worth a read. The I-Team series has put Pamela Clare in my small list of favorite authors and this little novella is a great example why. I am not a fan of Novellas and avoid them 98% of the time. But when I came to the end of the the series, I needed more and this was my quick fix. The main story was very good. I absolutely love the way PC pays tribute to the idea of the heroes in the world. They are out there and yet we forget

LOVE LOVE LOVE. All of Clare's men are my favorite but this one between Nate and Megan really touched me. They were both wounded and needed that release and forgiveness to heal, I love it
