4.5 stars... This was not quite a 5 star read for me, but it had so many good points that I just had to round it up.
Firstly, the best prologue I have ever read, followed later by a brilliant last chapter and great epilogue - these alone are probably worth 5 stars.
Secondly, Clare witty quips and one-liners, especially when presented as internal dialogue, are masterful and laugh out loud funny.
Thirdly, Clare has yet to write a hero or heroine that I don't like, and Marc is particularly well drawn. ...more

What a fabulous read! This is another hit in Pamela's I-Team series. These books are hard to put down and this one was no exception. I was surprised at the ending as I didn't see that coming, which disappoints me as I should've known.
At times I felt such heartache for what Marc and Sophie were going through. Honestly, I figured out how it would all get resolved but that didn't take anything away from the story for me. It was such a heartwarming ending. The epilogue was fabulous as it always is ...more

AWESOME book!!! Wanted to give it more than just 5 stars. My favorite in the I-TEAM series!..........So far. I still have to get book #4, NAKED EDGE.
I'm about 1/4 into the book and now I can't remember why I didn't finish this series sooner. This book has me by the throat so far! I was mad to have to go to bed last night!
