4.5 Stars - I really enjoyed this! But....This book made me think of my work. For that reason alone, I'll have to minus half a star. LOL ^o^ Actually, to be more accurate, my line of work made me question parts of the legislative process portrayed in this book and now I feel like I need to do "homework" to find out how it works in Colorado. Dang! ^_^

I love Pamela Clare's contemporary books as much as I do her historicals. Although, really, this is my first contemporary of Pamela's but I still say it's true.
This was a very fast-paced story and very hard to put down. The suspense story line itself was great but the love story blew that all away. I loved Reece! Of course, he was the perfect man. He can cook, build things like cabins and beds, he treats Kara with utmost respect and devotion, takes care of her and protects her and loves her son. ...more

4 ½ stars – Romantic Suspense
I have to say that I LOVED this book. The characters showed real emotion which is sometimes hard I think for an author to do when writing a suspense. I felt as thought I could understand how these characters were feeling.
this is so a must read and I can not wait to read book 2
