★★★½✩ Nicely narrated by Susannah Jones and fun in parts, but it didn't grab hold of my interest and not let go. I liked Indy, the heroine, better than some readers did. I did go back to it after setting it aside for awhile, so that says something. I'll continue the series on audio. ...more

It was a good and very funny book. My only 'complain' is that it seemed to go on and on. SO many things happen you'd think you'll never see the end of the story. But it was a really fun read/listen. I love Lee even with his caveman attitude.
The heroine is fun but I wish she'd stop thinking 'oopsies', 'shit, shit, fuck, fuck'... She's completely immature and doesn't act like a 30+ woman but you can't help but like her anyway.

I'm soooo looking forward to the release of the next audiobook ...more

I am writing my review on my second read of this book. I have now read the entire series and as a part of whole I like it even better than I did the first time.

This is a lighter more madcap Kristen Ashley book and it is good fun.

All the side characters are great and most will get their own romances which makes the reread so delicious.

Lee, our hero, is grand. He love Indy just the way she is and this is the hottest thing about him and there is a lot of other hot stuff as well.

3.5 Stars but this tilted too YA for me. India was entertaining but not substantial. I am all for witty humor, but big on silly humor which was the majority of one. It was more like continuous blond moment that went on bit too long. Again, it was entertaining but it didn't hit the mark for me. I won't be moving on in this one, but I will be trying another Ashley, because I do so enjoy her men. ...more

Yikes! Time flies. I first read this in 2014 and nearly 5 years on, this re-read still hits the mark. Entertaining and amusing its a feel good book. Still, Lee (the H) p'd me off with a I'm ready for you so we'll be together now...especially special when he says how she's a cops daughter and knows the drill and he can't be bothered to break someone else in. I may be paraphrasing but close enough for you to get the idea.
