This does not have any non-consensual sex in it so if that's your thing then you won't find it here. For me, I was glad. This was more role playing than anything else. If you have read any of Cherise Sinclair's writings then you will get more spice and BDSM from those than this. However, if this is your first time with a BDSM book, then this will be a good start. I had this in my TR pile for a while. Sincerely wish I would have left it there. Shallow, mediocre, and fragmented. The characters were inconsistent and dialogue pretty lame. The story and writing did nothing for me.

This was a LOT better than I'd anticipated. I LOVED Flynn, enjoyed Laurel, and was completely drawn in by the erotic elements.

Unlike some other rape fantasy stories I've read, I never felt that there was ANYTHING non-consensual, and I never felt at all skeevy for reading it.

Were it not for the voyeurism in the beginning (not my kink) and the Happy For Now ending rather than a "true" Happily Ever After, it probably would have been a 4.5, but as it is, a very solid 4/5 stars. ...more
