I really enjoyed this vampire romance. The heroine, Cyn, is a strong smart woman who gets involved with the Raphael, Vampire Lord of the western US whenever she helps find a missing vampire as part of her job as a private investigator. In general I find contemporary stories hard to relate to and the familiar setting just seemed to compound my difficulties with suspending belief. But for whatever reason this book was just not my cup of tea ~ ...more
