What Members Thought

When I first started reading this it was sooo hard to get into. It took me til 100 pages into the book for me to really start liking magic bites. The world is hard to get used to but once you read it, it is really good. I mean once you understand it all, it will become one of your favorites. My kind of urban fantasy book. I loved Kate, she is badass and I just loved her attitude and personality. And OMG. Curran! I love this man! He is my favorite shifter of all this shifter books I have read! I

I really liked it, but then again, I had kinda sorta already read books 3-5, so I had a bit of an advantage going into this one. I can honestly say I see why so many people told me to start with Book 3, though, because I think I would have been a wee bit lost had I not already had a firm understanding of the universe this was set in. The character development was a bit overshadowed in my opinion by all of the action (though I loved the action!), and of course, being an early entry into an UF nov

*crying tears of joy* I though I'll never read something good as in it has a strong female character who kicks someone's ass, almost dies now and then, solves a good mystery and has a kind of a love interest. (It's like early Anita Blake book set the bar too high, and only a few series are as good as that. Anyways, this is one of them ^O^)
A good reading, so I'm gonna jump on to the next book before something happens and I forget and the next thing I know a few months has passed since I read this ...more

I struggled a little with this book, it took me a few tries to get through it. It's an interesting world, and I really like Kate. I do hope there is more romance in this series. .
