I'm not really sure how I felt about this book. After a few false starts I was able to finally finish. Chess is a debunker for the Church of Real Truth, a governing body that saved the world after killer ghost broke through the veil and killed half the human population. This means she goes around proving whether or not someones complaint of a haunting is real or fake and banishes the ghost. There were a few bumps along the way (no pun intended), for the first book of a series but it still rocked.
The character building was FANTASTIC, it definately drew me in, which is why I read it straight threw in one sitting.
I am in love with these characters after only one book.
Cannot wait to see what is to come for Cesaria and her friends/enemies.
Starting the next book in the Series Unholy Magic right now. :)

This is not a romance but I liked the kinda-romantic interest. Not the normal super-hot richer than rich guy. He's actually quite interesting.
