I loved this one as much as the first but for completely different reasons. I too had a temporary split with my hubby a long long time ago, and the way JA portrayed Isabella's the mixed feelings about Mac was spot on. I thought it was handled so well. I loved both Mac and Isabella and their love scenes were hot and poignant.
I also loved having a wee glimpse into Ian and Beth again and I totally look forward to Cam and Hart's books (though like other reviewers it is gonna be interesting how JA i ...more

I was instantly attracted to Isabella and Mac's story when they were first introduced in TMOLIM.
Let me say Ms. Jennifer Ashley did not disappoint me.
I found this a fascinating study of a marriage. Not a simple HEA but a look into addiction, (although I think she could have went a bit deeper with this) loss, fear, acceptance and forgiveness.

I read this book when it first came out and homehow never wrote a review. I now can't remember much about it at all. Rereading Dec 2010.

This one was tough! I really wanted Isabella to forgive Mac, but the more we hear about her reasons, the more we realise there are worse things than infidelity. While they both stayed faithful, he really needed a reboot and then to win back her trust. I love that he realised that too and stood up for himself when he needed to. And I adore how strong, independent, and feisty she is.
