What Members Thought
The last book in the Last Chance Rescue series, Run to Me is the darkest of them. It dedicates a large (IMHO) amount of time depicting the more than creepy villain's thoughts and showing all kinds of torture. The things that not only Ethan and Shea, but another secondary character that shall remain nameless, go through are enough to give a weak mind nightmares. Shea and Ethan have a very extensive history together. Too bad we don't get to know what it is until 3/4 of the book is over. It was frustrating, and I think I would have felt a lot more connected with them if I could have understood where they were each coming from. Their history as a couple is constantly hinted at. We know they were together and that Ethan didn't want to commit, but that's about it. There was a lot more than that between them, though. Both their childhoods were glosse ...more

This had all the right elements for a fantastic 5 star read. Great (tho a tad far-fetched) plotline, terrific hero and heroine, fantastic side-characters, hot sexual tension, good romantic build up and sick villain.
