What Members Thought

It's not too often where you read a book and it feels like the author peered into your mind and wrote a book specifically for your likes and dislikes. Even though ST is a NTM author that is exactly what she did. This book had very tight plotting and considering that we had two romances going on at once, I thought that was pretty good. Even better both romances felt like they got equal time with the story, so by the end of the story I was happy for both couples and didn't feel like either one got

Just okay contemporary military romance. Nothing to really stand it out from the pack as far as I’m concerned, except for perhaps the fact the author does more than one romantic couple per book. In this one, two men from a former special ops team go after the man who recruited them. But it seems the man himself is in danger and they end up rescuing him rather than taking him out. Course the fact that one of them falls for the man’s daughter helped that.

This was a pretty good book. I've read one other ST book and didn't like it at all (Hard to Hold). Of course you have to suspend your belief in all things real, but I honestly didn't mind since I did enjoy the ride Ms. Tyler took me on.
The hero was quite likable. Strong, alpha and fell in love super-quick (kind of like a LMR hero). Loved that while the heroine was physically weak, she was not a weak woman. The secondary romance with Cam's friend Dylan was enjoyable as well.

3 Solid Stars or B Rating.
Both the Heroine and Hero were likable enough, and are kindred spirits in loneliness. The heroine recently had a kidney transplant, and has had on going issues since her teens, and the hero was framed for murder and imprisoned when he was just a lad. I liked them together, they complimented each other nicely.
They have sex on their first meeting and fall in love in three days.
I really hate that plot device, and really, I just don't understand it. But hey, it's a book.
