I would have given this book more stars if it hadn't been so slow and confusing in the begining. I still don't know what a fiend is. Are they demons, dragons? There's talk about the sexual depravity of the fiends but she never show's what that is other than the fact that the heroine has sex with two of the fiends in the same room, which I didn't understand why.
