5 stars - Vampire Romance
This is perhaps the best love story in the Midnight Breed series. I really loved the Breed warrior Rio. He is an anguished, tortured soul, but also sweet and loving. The relationship between Rio and Dylan is believable and well developed, and I found myself very anxious for them to find their HEA. Another great read in this awesome series!

I had been anticipating Rio's story since the beginning of the Midnight Breed series. Lara Adrian made him out to be this larger than life character in only the handful of scenes he appeared in in the first 3 books, and I think it would have been impossible for this book to have lived up to all the expectations.Taking all of that into consideration, while this book starts off slower than the previous three, it was a quick, enjoyable read.
