I LOVED THIS BOOK!!
Probably my least favorite out of the series. I was annoyed quite a bit. More than a bit. My eyes hurt from all the eyerolling I did. I hate it how they kept referring to her hands as "wee hands". It just didn't seem right. She was 5'3", her hands shouldn't have been that small. Say delicate, or some other word. "Wee" makes me think of a child's hand, and that's just ewwwwww.

It took me some time to warm up to the story. Halfway through the book I was still unconvinced. But then Ethan completely changed and I couldn't stop reading. The last chapters had me riveted to the pages, I was hurting for them. All in all it was a good story.

Though I loved all the MacCarrick brothers, I must admit that Ethan was my favorite! He was a great tortured alpha hero. Though seriously, I'd take any one of them. Madeleine was a great match for him. I hated to see this series end - Cole does just as great a job with historical romance as she does with the Immortals After Dark series.
