Lover Unbound picks up directly after Lover Revealed (Butch's Story) in Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood seris and gives us Vishous's story.

V has had a hard time of it. Basically tortured at the hands of his brutal father as a young man 300 yrs ago, he has learned to shut down any sensitive aspects of his nature in order to survive. Because of this, he requires a massive amount of control in the bedroom to receive his pleasure and is conflicted on many levels outside of the bedroom.

Oh come on, you HAD to see this coming! I could hardly read Butch's story and not find out what happened with V.

I read some of this book a few months ago (without reading any of the others). I didn't like what I read so I stopped reading it. Then curiosity got the best of me so I ended up looking up the rest of what happens and was glad I didn't finish it because I hated the ending.

weird... I haven't decided if that's a weird good or a weird bad. Nonetheless, it was a good read. There were so many pieces of history and connection coming together, I was hooked the whole time. But there were drawbacks to this book. One, it was almost all romance. I know, I shouldn't really be complaining when I decided to pick up a PNR, but all the previous books had narration and evilness from the Lessers. The Lessers were only actively part of the story at 2 parts, and only kinda.
