I really enjoyed it, I just wish that we had more romantic scenes b/w grown up Killian and Isobel after the events in the last chapter or maybe I'm just greedy.
I loved the fact that even after so many years they still loved each other even though that love that bought nothing but pain and betrayal and was unexpected in Killian's case and in Isobel's case a ghost because she thought he was dead. This one in the Ice series really changes the pace with Isobel's story and, after Bastien's story, is probably my favorite (although I'm still to read Fire & Ice), and with totally unsympathetic lead characters too. I'm glad that the author waited until #4 to explain why the heroine is such an enigma. The timing just seems right and with such a fantastic plot as well.
