Really cool book. Once again with Anne Stuart's trademark hearless bastard hero. Takashi is Japanese, which is so different. I love how every book this lady writes has a completely different setting and feel, and it also changes multiple times throughout the book. I never get bored.

This was OK but nothing great - and it wasn't helped by a so-so narration; very rarely do I find that I should have read a book instead of listening to it, but this is one of those times. This should have been an exciting story - bad guys want the heroine and the priceless artifact she possesses, good(?) guy wants the artifact and is supposed to 'dispose of' the heroine. heroine figures she's doomed no matter what. But it was such a repetitive theme - heroine tries to escape, heroine gets caught

I had my doubts about this book when I first started reading it. I had a hard time connecting with the heroine and hero. Summer seemed very cold, but as time went on that way of holding in her feelings served her well. Summer's resourcefulness about the urn was great, I am not sure that I would have had the foresight to think that far ahead. Wow, this was another great one! Taka and Summer sizzled and their love was so genuine. I can't believe it took me so long to read this series. Anne Stuart keep them coming!
