★★★★★ (This is a review of the audio book.) What can I say about hearing one of my favorite installments of Kresley Cole’s wonderful Immortals After Dark series brought to life on audio book? Terrific? Wonderful? Awesome?
They all seem woefully inadequate.
I’ve read this book several times, and I loved listening to it. Robert Petkoff continues his breathtaking narration, kicking it up a notch this time to tell us of Néomi Laress and Conrad Wroth’s love story. His voice is dreamy and he does the in ...more

Hooray! Finally, an IAD book where the hero and heroine aren't enemies, the mating bond doesn't override free choice and exist exclusive to genuine feelings and desire; and the barrier to the HEA is not about them overcoming their mutual dislike/hatred of each other. *sigh of relief*
I must admit, I was extremely dubious of this one. The heroine being a ghost was not something I could see working at all. Thankfully, the author totally pulled it off, and this ended up being one of my favourites in ...more

I am surprised that this one did so well. It's my least favorite one so far. I think the ghost story just, well, bored me.
I do like how his brothers (and Bowen) worked so hard to help him. I really liked those parts. Though at times it was fristrating because I knew what was going on and it made me want to scream at them to just listen and back off! But I got over it because they meant well.

Kresley Cole is my #1 to-go-to author for paranormal romance. She's a phenomenal writer evident by her well-developed characters and plots. So, there's nothing of her works that I won't read. Well, maybe except for her young adult series.

What a fun and tragic story! Both Conrad and Neomi have such tragic ending/beginnings...and their road to happily ever after is so full of pot holes it's amazing they navigated through them at all! I loved how well the story moved and how lovely the transformations were for both characters. Oh, and how could I leave out Nix! She is such a strange, but wonderful character! I can't wait for her story! I do love the Wroth brothers and it was great getting to see the brothers interact and work towar
