Hooray! Finally, an IAD book where the hero and heroine aren't enemies, the mating bond doesn't override free choice and exist exclusive to genuine feelings and desire; and the barrier to the HEA is not about them overcoming their mutual dislike/hatred of each other. *sigh of relief*

This one's so different from most of the IAD series. I'm not sure why. I guess because Neomi is a very gentle heroine and Conrad is crazy? Or that they're mostly house-bound for most of the book? Not sure. I love how Kresley takes two extremely opposite characters and makes them exactly what the other needs, though.

This is one of my favorite paranormal series. The heroes are just too yummy for words. Who'd have ever thought that a half-crazed virgin vampire could be SO sexy? Well, trust me, he is. Plus, I love how we get to see some of the couples from the previous novels. That gets a definite thumbs up from me.

I'd give it 4.5 if I could. I loved Conrad... but it wasn't a "can't put down" book for me.
