To be honest, I stopped reading Sherrilyn Kenyon’s books after ACHERON, from her DARK HUNTERS series. This was mainly due to the fact that I felt each book was going over the same old ground and only the names of the characters changed.

So I picked up this book since I found out that BORN OF ICE, which I have on my bookshelf, was book 3 in the series. So instead of doing my usual of reading the books out of order, I decided to start at the beginning. I’m ...more

Loved the hero but I'm a sucker for guys who are big, scary and bad but all warm and fuzzy inside. The heroine fluctuated from likeable to whiny and naive then to tolerable at the end. I'll be continuing the series with Syn's book next. ...more

This is a well-written book. Kenyon had published it years ago, and revamped it before re-releasing. I love the story, the characters, the good triumphing over evil, the lovers being able to make a family together in the end. If it wasn't set in outer space it would have been a western. ...more

I really enjoyed this book. Nyk is great the romance is good, the world SK created is different. All in all I look forward to reading the rest if the series.
