I know a book (or series) is good when I feel just as sad about losing the characters as I do when I finish writing my own. And THAT'S how I felt about this series. I haven't really reviewed any of the others because I was too busy trying to get to the next one. So this review will serve as mine for the series.

Zeth and Sloane are great characters. The plot was detailed. And... (this is probably the highest praise I can give a book... because I am usually good at guessing them)- I didn't see any ...more

This whole series of 6 books was a wild, hot, and crazy ride. There was just something about the writing and the way each story ended on a cliffhanger that had me determined to find out what would happen next!

I did get a little weary towards the end (some of it was just too over-the-top unbelievable, and the bad guy was just insane), wondering if the H/h would ever get an HEA...but jeez, what a ride it was! 4 stars for this book, 4 1/2 for the whole series

This was the perfect ending to a totally amazing series! The ending was somewhat predictable, but it still was legendary “Zeth and Sloane”. The two as a couple were powerful and passionate whether it be directed towards family, friends or each other. A bit of a sniffle was in order when an important character is met with a tragedy, but it seemed to be the only choice that Ms. Hart had, given the circumstances. There was no character that I have read about this year that was more BADASS than Zeth This was the perfect ending to a totally amazing series! There was no character that I have read about this year that was more BADASS than Zeth! He just had that way about him that brought the reader totally into the story with his unpredictable and secretive antics. He was smart and sexy HOT!!! And, just burned with a raw sexuality so much so that Sloane, and myself also, couldn’t help but be hugely attracted to. He just had it all going on and then some! And Sloane, a heroine in her own right, was courageous and strong. The doctor, who was beautiful and caring, most often just tried to do the right thing. One couldn’t help but always be rooting for her. She was really that freakin’ likeable! Secrets were revealed that answered many questions. So, when all was said and done, the reader was finally able to put all the pieces together. I don’t want to accidentally give away any answers to any questions that readers might have regarding major storylines, so I’m just going to stop here before I get talking too much and ruin it for them. But, I will say that the author created a cast full of amazing characters that kept the story going while surrounding it with suspense and passion. Oh, and that little black bag of Zeth’s, which went everywhere with him, was totally SWEET!!!! I am absolutely looking forward to Rebel’s story, which is to be released sometime in the near future. He seemed like such a cocky bastard who I’m thinking has plenty of hidden secrets of his own. So looking forward to Ms. Hart to once again “wow” us with another totally epic tale. Can’t wait!!!

Oh, and Ms. Hart’s books always seem to have the most gorgeous covers, and this one does not disappoint!!!! So undeniably attracting the reader’s attention...

So good. This is one of the those series' that you feel both so lucky and yet totally cursed for finding. I loved this, I know I've said it from the first book, but I truly did. Every one. And I just stumbled upon it through Amazon's weekly emails, snatching the first one because it was free (and let's face it - the cover), and started reading it after sampling three crappy books just before.
