Better than the movie (at least concerning Lestat character). This is how I started enjoying vampire books&movies.
I really enjoyed this book. The writing is gorgeous and the description can be very poetic at times. The section where Louis described when he turned was amazing.
The characters were all shaped so intricately and well. It's very easy to tell how this book was so influential over the vampire genre.
