Jack Till #2; Jack, formerly LAPD, now a private investigator is a captivating, well cultivated protagonist. Thomas Perry develops a modulated plot line that methodically allows Jack to move forward to finding a serial killer.
The development of the plot is rather slow as Jack Till discovers clues and links.
This cat and mouse game becomes redundant as he pursues the killer across the country.
The suspenseful ending is exciting, but ends too abruptly.

Mr Jack Till - great character with his daughter with Downs Syndrom. good mystery in the typically good fashion of Thomas Perry.
My all time favorite character of Mr Perry is Jane Whitefield. I have read all of her books.
