Not one of the best books by Dale Brown. Too much politics not enough USAF type stuff.
That said considering it was published in 1993 after the fall of the USSR & 1st Gulf War, there are many aspects of the geo-political/military narrative that could easily be 2015, 2016 etc. Twenty years plus since first published and not much seems to have changed in the near east/black sea area of the world....or has it!
Switch off to the politics it's a manageable read. ...more

Had a hard time reading this book, just could not get into it, normally, I can get through a book rather quickly, three times, I put it down.
