Shelves: spy-thriller, political-thriller, tech-thriller, military
Pedestrian "spec-ops" super hero confronting an "American Taliban" dealing Jihad here in the US & the Outer Banks, aided & abetted by corrupt private contractors & the highest levels of the Pentagon...interestingly the Quad Cities play a pivotal role in the plotting, but it's just a so-so entry in this genre...I'll give this series 1 more chance! ...more

finished this one after a struggle to continue. too many aspects got me confused. terrorism, military contractors corruption, gold hunt, murder mystery.
