This book is a book zero for a new spin off from the Area 51 books that Bob Mayer writes, and it's a good introduction at that. There really wasn't much time patrolling in this book. A major change to past events is referenced, but the time patrol never goes out and deals with it. I expected for a time patrol to go back in time and fix a Thing, but...no.
