Actually while this is listed as an action book it only manages to brush up against action for most of it's length. This isn't a bad book, but sadly it never manages to be what it was supposed to be. You'll get a fairly long set up and introduction. Then you'll get some personal struggles and sacrifice. It's well trodden ground, but it's an okay serviceable read.

I have to say I was disappointed in this story. It certainly did not live up to what I expected to read. I did not see anything special about Chief Warrant Tom Crocker. For a SEAL on Team 6 I expected a lot more. He seemed to stumble his way thru things and went off half-cocked most of the time. I think the authors have a background in Special Ops but it does not translate well into a novel. Pretty sure I will not read anymore books in this series. Time to go back and resume my sniper series wri
