The gray man comes across the family of a man he used to know....they are in trouble with a drug cartel in mexico....it's about to be a very bad week for the drug cartel.

The action is done in an interesting way as is usual in Greaney's writing, as a negative there is at least one deus ex machina moment to save our hero in the nick of time....but overall an enjoyable read. ...more

The latest Grey man novel find Court Gentry on the run after being found in the Amazon jungle when he reads about the death of a man who saved his life at the hands of a drug cartel. When he stops to pay respects he finds himself involved in protecting the family. When the drug kingpin decides that he wants his friends unborn son as payment the Gray Man declares war on the Cartel. Excellent read.

A quick page turning read. Essentially provides a long aside in the Gray Man saga with some nice back story thrown in. Much of this genre consists of storylines that are far too impossible to believe, and this fits that well. It does capture the tenor of the wars among the Mexican cartels well.
