This book lived up to what I was expecting. Similar in parts to James Rollins Amazonia by James Rollins but different enough to let me like it on it's own. I love these thrillers set in the deep jungle. Brings back a feeling of watching the Johnny Quest The Lake of Terror by Brad Quentin cartoons back in the 60's. Plenty of action in this story. The mystery behind the story played a big part and it was fun finding things out along with the cast of characters. I will for sure check out other books by Brown like: Black Sun (Hawker & Laidlaw, #2) by Graham Brown ...more

An interesting book by Graham about a group of scientists seeking in the jungles of the Amazon for a lost Mayan Temple. Stalked by primitive tribes and weird beasts they are also being hunted by someone else seeking treasures beyond belief. Pretty good book.
