Many authors don't realize how important faith is to members of our military, especially those deployed to the war zone. The protagonists in 'Red Sky at Morning' are men of faith, and while they live out their religion, the book isn't preachy. I've attempted to make the book character-driven, with an attention to detail about the locales, and staying true to the technology mentioned but without getting bogged down in the details.
