This was my first Flynn novel and I loved it. Generally, I am not into politics and the whole Lib v Con debate/name calling. I felt this book did a good job of being a political thriller with the "politics". I will admit while reading this I did wonder how great if would feel to forcefully remove some politicians here in Michigan that are steaming piles of shit; not that I would ever do so. Before I was able to lay my hands on this book, I had completed all Mitch Rapp books till American Assassin. I was eagerly waiting for 'Kill Shot' which now is delayed and is expected by 2nd feb'12.
For those who have read Mitch Rapp series books and love it, this book you should read as all the characters are same right upto the capitol and white house and ofcourse the D.C. Politics minus Mitch Rapp. A complete politico-thriller.

re-read in 2013. Still awesome!!! Missing annual Vince Flynn novel.
