This is the story of Cleopatra's twins, Alexander and Selena. The story takes place at Cleopatra's suicide and the twins' capture by Octavius. They are taken to Rome, where they are raised by Caesar's sister Octavia. The story is told by Selena and the most interesting part of the story was the descriptions of life and times in ancient Rome. The storyline was slightly juvenile, but I learned quite a bit about a time that was unfamiliar to me. I think the best part of the book was finding out at

I really enjoyed this one. It gave me a lot of different emotions from anger to disgust. The ending really did suprise me and made me happy for Cleopatra's Daughter in the end. A great book if you like historical history.
