What Members Thought
I thought the book was okay. I was more drawn to the family characters than I was to Dena, the main character. To me she had beauty that was only skin deep. She gained character as the book went on, but I think I would have preferred a book about Aunt Elnar. I finished this book because it was a book club read and I am sure I will be the odd man out in the reviews as most members loved this book. I just couldn't understand the big attraction for Dena.
